Wednesday, December 1

My room is a whopping 45 degrees Farenheit, and I just got out of the shower. To battle this heat wave, I'm enjoying a nice warm hot chocolate. With whipped cream on top, of course. It's very exciting. (However, I can tell you that the Safeway brand hot cocoa, is no where near the level of tastiness of the Ghiradelli brand. As shocking as this statement may be, I can honestly say that even the whipped cream can't boost it to Ghiradelli goodness.)

Tonight was our last DeCal meeting. On the one hand, I'm in mourning since teaching with Prathna was incredibly fun and we had an excuse to hand out twice a week. (Though, for the past few weeks I've been bordering on comatose; a state I veer towards at the end of every semester.) But on the other, I'm a little relieved. We've been putting a lot of work into this class and finals are coming up, so I'm going to need every spare minute to write my 15 page paper. (What joy is mine.)

Bus Guy and I have had yet another conversation. This time I was suffering from an eyelash stuck in my eye, so I had two choices: a) keep my sunglasses on and appear rude, or b) take them off and look like I've developed some strange disease of the watery, red eye variety. I chose a.

In Other News:

Danica and I freaked out the hot guy in the car next to us using only ourselves and two Snappies (a positively delicious snack made of baked snap peas).

I finally used some of the Whipped Cream we've had in the house since our dinner party, (see above), where it was strangely used to decorate gravy.

Today in the library, an old man ran across the room and stole a seat from me right before I got there, laughing manically all the way.

Quote of the Day:
(Professor) Joanna: "Don't you think you're running a little wild?"
(Student) Ed: "Well, yeah."
Later...
Joanna: "Does everyone remember the pun about leaves in Sidney?"
Ed: "...I don't understand the parameters of the question."
